The Maine Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-centered care.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in critical care nursing.
- Leadership and Professional Development: Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment, and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- License/Certifications: Current License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine; Current BLS Certification. As required by department, including Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women.
- Experience: A minimum of one year in an acute care setting preferred.
