About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a General Production Specialist at American Foods Group, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of specialized tasks in a fast-paced production environment, including harvesting and fabrication of meat products.
  • Properly use tools and equipment, such as knives, hooks, and saws, to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Work in a variety of temperatures, including warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or with slippery surfaces, and at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts.
  • Comply with all food safety policies and regulations, including those related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF).
  • Adhere to all safety and housekeeping processes and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of production staff to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work extended scheduled hours, including overtime, as required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete training programs, including Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, and SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior harvest or fabrication experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
  • Prior production experience.
  • Work history in the last 12 months.
