Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Purchase aerospace electronics parts and materials.">
  • Create bid-to-buy orders and negotiate prices.">
  • Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials.">
  • Purchase orders and request for quotes (RFQ).">
  • Negotiate pricing on commodities, deliveries, and lead times.">
  • Analyze and process MRP (Material Requisition Planning) daily.">
  • Maintain inventory levels for purchased finished goods and assigned commodities.">
  • Monitor supplier performance for quality, accuracy, and timeliness.">
  • Implement newly sourced products and new suppliers to the portfolio.">
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments for purchasing duties.">
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the department.">
  • Present and influence department and supplier meetings.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.">
  • Minimum 3 years of Aerospace electronics/power supply buying experience.">
  • 3 years of proposal development and implementation.">
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales contract negotiation.">
  • Excel and MS Office applications.">
  • Aerospace supplier and vendor knowledge.">
  • ERP systems experience and other supply chain management tools, preferably Netsuite.">
  • Ability to build a supply chain/procurement channel.">
  • Progressive to advanced inventory control knowledge.">
  • Ability to read blueprints or demonstrate complex part purchasing skills.">
  • Experience with Government/DOD related sub-contracts and supplier oversight.">

Compensation Package: Competitive salary range of $28-$35 per hour, plus an estimated $2,912-$6,825 in annual profit sharing.
