Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist

Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in various areas, including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. The ideal candidate will assist radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care, while fostering effective collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality patient care
  • Perform ultrasound exams using good judgment and understanding of anatomical measurements and documentation
  • Assist radiologists and other physicians with interpretation of exams and US-guided invasive procedures
  • Work closely with radiologists and other physicians
  • Transport patients to and from the department or other areas within the hospital
  • Monitor and clean ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions to biomed and the supervisor
  • Work towards quality assurance goals
  • Work on-call after hours

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certified or registry eligible
  • Sonographer Level II, III, and IV are based on additional certifications in High Risk OB (HROB), Musculo-Skeletal, and/or Fetal Echocardiography
