Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the healthcare continuum.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position working 7AM - 7PM in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • As a RN, you will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient safety and satisfaction.
  • You will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Our ideal candidate is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty.
  • A valid RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure is required, along with current BLS certification.
Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient-specific care plans.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, symptoms, medications, and treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • BLS required
