Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Retail Operations Supervisor for our store.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to ensure:

  • Staff are effectively trained and developed to foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere centered on customer service.
  • The sales floor is adequately staffed.
  • Tasks are executed promptly.
  • Merchandising and recovery align with company standards.

2) Manage inventory operations at the store level, focusing on:

  • Receiving new merchandise.
  • Outbound shipping.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Overseeing inventory flow between locations, including transfers and returns.

3) Ensure timely preparation and communication of all necessary tasks, guaranteeing their completion within specified timeframes.

Time will be allocated to leading the team on the sales floor and overseeing operational processes, with adjustments made according to seasonal demands.

Expectations and Objectives:

  • Work alongside the Store Manager to ensure staff training is effective and the sales floor is adequately covered.
  • Intentionally develop the team to be welcoming and helpful through ongoing training and feedback.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely receiving and staging of new inventory.
  • Ensure all special orders, transfers, and returns are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Complete Charge Sends, E-commerce, and Store Ship-To-Customer orders efficiently.
  • Conduct scheduled and on-demand inventory counts accurately.
  • Coordinate inventory needs with the Store Manager, including staffing for new product preparation.
  • Manage daily replenishment of inventory from back stock to the sales floor.
  • Ensure returned products are processed and restocked efficiently.
  • Maintain organization in all inventory and backstock storage areas.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies to relevant personnel.
  • Oversee and communicate supply needs for the location.
