Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair production equipment in assigned areas, under the guidance of higher-level production mechanics.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance employees and production management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete work orders accurately and document all relevant information.
  • Perform technical maintenance tasks under close supervision.
  • Assist with process improvements and identify areas for optimization.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure SQF certification.
Qualifications:
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification, Driver's license, and ability to obtain HazMat, Confined Space Entry, and LOTO certifications.
