Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Plan and implement engaging and interactive curriculum that meets the needs of our students, aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Classroom Management: Create a well-organized and safe learning environment, ensuring the basic care needs of each child are met.
  • Teaching and Learning: Assist children with social development, including teaching table manners, sharing, and other essential life skills.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure the classroom is in compliance with childcare state licensing regulations, and complete required daily forms and reports.
  • Communication: Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Level 2 or higher in CO Shines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, frequent periods of standing, stooping, bending, and occasional running.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to maintain a strict classroom schedule to ensure State "ratio" compliance.
