Behavior Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team at Keene Perspectives. As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, evidence-based services to children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodiverse profiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement teaching procedures and behavior intervention plans designed and supervised by a BCBA
  • Utilize digital data collection systems to track client progress
  • Document sessions daily with descriptive writing
  • Problem-solve in the moment and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with families and co-workers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, special education, early childhood education, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other behavioral needs (preferred but not required)
