About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to security-related incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interact with hospital staff, patients, and visitors to ensure a positive and secure experience.
  • Monitor and maintain security equipment, including cameras and alarms.
  • Participate in emergency response and crisis management situations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Technical School degree in Police Science or current student in Police Science program desired.
  • Previous security experience or training is beneficial.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and in weather extremes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
