Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL-A Route Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a CDL-A Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers.
* Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
* Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
* Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.

Requirements

* Valid CDL-A license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
* 6+ months of CDL-A driving experience with a tractor/trailer.
* Ability to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
