- Freight Scheduling: Schedule freight pick-up and delivery appointments, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Data Entry and Order Management: Precise data entry work, including building orders in Redwood's proprietary TMS, and managing order status updates.
- Communication and Collaboration: Provide freight status updates to shippers, receivers, customers, and internal parties, and communicate relevant updates to customer and/or internal carrier account teams as needed.
- Accounting and Invoicing: Verify all freight charges, and resolve all accounting discrepancies prior to final invoicing.
- Problem-Solving and Documentation: Proactively generate and process appropriate paperwork for orders, maintaining a strong attention to detail, and efficiently and effectively resolving customer shipment issues.
- Clear Communication: Clear and effective communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability to change focus quickly due to demands of market conditions and/or company needs.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior customer service experience a plus, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
