East Broad Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our dental practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure accurate diagnoses, effective treatment, and exceptional patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and best practices to provide the highest level of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
