Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Premier Health. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic-quality MRI procedures on patients of all ages, evaluating MRI studies for technical image quality, and implementing screening and safety measures in accordance with prescribed MRI safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures of diagnostic quality as ordered by the referring physician and/or radiologist.
  • Evaluate MRI studies for technical image quality and implement screening and safety measures.
  • Obtain clinical history and data for correlation with the MRI procedure.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media to patients according to policy.
  • Assist radiologists in special procedures and emergency situations.
  • Coordinate patient care with other areas to optimize patient time and satisfaction.
  • Assess learning needs and educate patients/families regarding procedures based on individual needs.
  • Ensure all records, files, and reports are properly recorded and perform clerical duties when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Medical Imaging Sciences or related field.
  • CPR certification required.
  • MRI registry preferred.
  • ODH licensure preferred.
  • ARRT RT (R) registry or ARMRIT required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of MRI experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced MRI computer applications.
Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
