Dishroom Lead

JobsRUs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishroom Lead to join our team in Bridgewater, NJ. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment for our employees.

• Maintain a customer-focused approach while performing duties
• Ensure the cleanliness of dishware and equipment
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine
• Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
• Keep the dishroom clean and organized
• Complete opening and closing checklists
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
• Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
• May assist others in closing the kitchen
• Comply with all HACCP policies and procedures
• Attend all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training
• Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 1 or more years related experience

• Presents self in a highly professional manner to others
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
• Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives
• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to work unsupervised
