About the Position:
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to work effectively under supervision. As a Nursing Assistant, you will be working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Observe patients and report any unusual behavior or changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with daily tasks, including maintaining patient rooms, exchanging linens, and preparing equipment
- Practice correct isolation techniques to control the spread of infection
- Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment according to hospital policy
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Preferably six months of experience in a healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by an American Heart Association approved provider
- Patient de-escalation training (SAMA) required within 30 days of hire
Salary:
$52,500 annually, based on experience
