Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all standard diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols regarding radiation and physical well-being.
- Support physicians during fluoroscopic examinations.
- Gather patient information and accurately document procedures.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Essential Credentials:
- Certification and active registration as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry-eligible with a requirement to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must acquire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of employment and maintain it thereafter.
- Complete a 6-lead EKG course within six months of employment.
