Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Compliance Specialist to join our team at Hire Connections. As a vital member of our Legal and Loan Processing department, this individual will play a key role in conducting thorough research, preparing essential documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

About the Role:

  • Assist attorneys and supervisors in the preparation of legal, loan, and collateral documents, as well as reviews for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perfect collateral according to state statutes, maintain perfection, and extend or amend as necessary.
  • Order UCC lien searches for verification and determination of lien position.
  • Review, analyze, and organize title commitments, abstracts, policies, exception documents, and other due diligence items, including surveys.
  • Recommend title objections and endorsements, communicate with title companies, collateral associates, and transaction teams, and manage resolution of title and due diligence issues.
  • Obtain and review organizational documents, complete signatory authority reviews, prepare borrower and guarantor resolutions, and perform follow-up and tracking of updated documents.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining standard loan documentation language and templates, as well as mortgage templates.
  • Review collateral records, cross-reference to documents to ensure accuracy of data and tracking.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and electronic databases, legal training materials, and manuals.
  • Assist in researching mortgage law to keep mortgage review binders current.
  • Perform general corporate support functions as required, including custodial duties, audits, and note file management.
  • Input and maintain tracking of collateral and insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with flood insurance regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of paralegal experience.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of collateral management, lending, mortgage, and UCC document reviews.
  • Familiarity with flood regulations and insurance requirements.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $28-$31 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
