Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Brown & Root. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our plant facilities and operations by performing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of process, instrumentation, electrical, and manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, repairs, and replacements
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operating teams to ensure smooth plant operations
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment histories
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement events to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Trade/technical degree or higher in a maintenance, mechanical, or related field
  • 3+ years of mechanical experience on processing equipment
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance
  • Knowledge of computer systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of IP21 and/or PLCs
  • Experience in general electrical instrumentation
  • Ability to work on all aspects of control work – instrument and electrical
