Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ICU nurse to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

The ICU nurse will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses physical, emotional, and social needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, identifying potential risks and complications, and develop targeted interventions to mitigate these risks.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless care delivery and promote effective communication among team members.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • 1+ year of experience as an ICU nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with proficiency in vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
