Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at Ascension St. John in Jenks, OK. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.

Requirements:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
