Job Summary

You will also be responsible for ensuring that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying of merchandise are done in accordance with policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere in the Produce Department

• Ensure accurate and efficient ordering, receiving, and stocking of produce

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Food Lion's high standards of quality and safety

• Collaborate with other associates to achieve sales goals and minimize shrink

• Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including Food Safety and Workplace Safety protocols

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting established volume activity standards

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks

• Must meet minimum age requirements and be able to work in a variety of temperatures and environments
