Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Barbering courses to students, utilizing various delivery methods and technologies.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to measure student learning.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum, including course design, materials, and assessments.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives, such as professional development, committee work, and community engagement.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a related field.
  • At least three years of work experience in Barbering, with a strong background in teaching and instructional design.
  • A valid Texas Barber License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Barber Instructor training.
