Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Stepdown team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Unit Overview:

Our Cardiac Stepdown Unit provides intermediate-level care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring for arrhythmias, unstable coronary syndromes, heart failure, and other vascular diagnoses and medical disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a supportive care delivery model.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patients' cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias and coronary syndromes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
  • BSN strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience with emphasis on cardiac patients.
  • Ability to work day/night rotation, 39-40 hours/week, weekends required.
