We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Flatiron Construction. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules and confirm the availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Quality Assurance: Review shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.
- Technical Input: Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling, identifying risk elements that could negatively impact the budget or schedule.
- Project Monitoring: Evaluate daily production, schedule, and budget projections to accurately track project performance.
- Reporting: Update project schedules weekly for owner and management reporting, and attend weekly owner meetings to present on project production status.
- Additional Assignments: Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of construction engineering experience.
- Skills: Resource monitoring techniques, construction technology, process systems, and/or structures.
- Leadership: Ability to set clear expectations for direct reports, delegate work, and manage multiple engineering tasks.
- Communication: Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
