Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Case Maker Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality cases for bookbinding. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret work orders to confirm binding type, bulk, trim size, and run lengths.
  • Set up and operate case-making machinery to meet production standards.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for defects.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
  • Train new operators and assist in their development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role or relevant technical training.
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to read measuring tools.

Physical Requirements:
