Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to join our Mathematics Department at MSU Texas. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching developmental mathematics courses, including Math Beginning Algebra.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach 3 or 6 hours of developmental mathematics courses, including Math Beginning Algebra
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse student populations
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or secondary mathematics education
  • Experience in teaching algebra or related subjects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
