Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient infusion center. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology and be able to administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments, implanted port flushes, and lab draws.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments
- Perform implanted port flushes and lab draws
- Conduct cancer treatment-related assessments and education
- Provide patient care and support
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Delaware and Maryland
- BSN degree or commitment to obtain within three years
- BLS certification
- Two years of nursing experience, with oncology experience preferred
Working Conditions:
The RN will work in a fast-paced outpatient infusion center, with potential exposure to infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and body fluids. Rotation to satellite facilities may be required.
Physical Demands:
The RN will be required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, with the ability to transfer patients and lift laundry bags weighing up to 100 pounds.
