Cortica, a pioneering healthcare company specializing in neurodevelopmental care, seeks a skilled Behavioral Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. This dynamic role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering life-changing services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.

Job Summary:

This position involves providing direct behavior therapy services to clients in various settings, including home, community, school, and clinic. The successful candidate will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on positive behavior strategies and reinforcement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend Cortica's orientation and complete the BCAT training program.
  • Implement behavior-analytic services in 1:1 and group settings, adhering to developed treatment plans and strategies.
  • Work with families and colleagues to establish supportive environments that foster education and treatment across all settings of care.
  • Document session notes, data collection, and assessment procedures accurately and efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Possess experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
  • Ideal qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a human service field or relevant work experience.
  • Be registered as a Behavior Technician or willing to obtain the BCAT credential through Cortica's training program within 45 days.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.
Benefits:

Cortica offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursement, and referral bonuses. The base direct pay range for this role is $21.18 to $28.42 per hour, with indirect pay at $16.00 per hour.
