Key Responsibilities
As a Daycare Assistant Teacher at Bay Country Learning Center and Highland Playschool, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the lead teacher in designing and implementing a daily and weekly schedule
  • Planning engaging activities that promote learning and exploration
  • Providing basic care and caregiving activities
  • Evaluating children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
  • Communicating effectively with parents and updating them on their child's activities

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous experience as a daycare assistant teacher or babysitter/nanny
  • A strong understanding of child development or interest in learning
  • Patient, kind, and nurturing qualities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • First aid/CPR certification (or willingness to become certified)
