About This Role

The Auto Body Technician plays a crucial role in delivering our goal to WOW Every Customer and Be the Best. With $2+ billion in sales, over 800 locations and growing, our 10,000+ team members across the United States and Canada are passionate about restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent execution of our WOW plan by providing exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer's vehicle.
  • Plan and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools and techniques.
  • Repair structural damage, realign car chassis and frames, and replace or repair glass and windshields as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including inspecting vehicles after repair to ensure all work has been executed correctly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
  • Able to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
  • Able to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
Work Environment

The Auto Body Technician works in a noisy area with many odors present. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times, visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions, and bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
