Responsibilities:
  • Quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff
  • Complete paperwork and patient charting
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually
  • Use strategies and available resources for problem-solving for patients, family, and staff
  • Delegate tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensure timely follow-up
  • Facilitate learning for patients and families, nursing staff, other members of the healthcare team, and community
  • Preserve and protect the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights of patients and family, and represent their concerns
  • Participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • 1+ year(s) of ER RN experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • Unencumbered Texas or Compact RN license required
  • Nicotine Free
  • BLS required
