Job Description:
The Logistics Operator plays a crucial role in supporting production and specific operational areas by managing material handling tasks, including pulling inventory, restocking, loading, and delivering materials to designated workstations. This position involves operating various types of mobile machinery to facilitate the movement of materials as part of the production process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory and documentation practices
  • Prepare orders meticulously for shipment
  • Create shipping and receiving documentation as per shop requirements
  • Communicate effectively and document the processing of incoming and outgoing materials consistently and accurately
  • Operate industrial forklifts, pallet jacks, mobile equipment, and/or overhead cranes to execute material handling tasks
  • Adhere to verbal and written work instructions and safety standards consistently and accurately

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exhibit proficiency in performing preventive maintenance inspections on assigned machinery
  • Demonstrate the capability to train fellow employees in the safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment
