As a Registered Nurse with LHC Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of needs. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and comprehensive nursing evaluations to determine primary focus of care and develop individualized plans of care.
- Coordinate total plan of care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust plans of care as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, agency policies, and payer source guidelines.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
