Preferred Materials, a leading supplier of ready mix concrete, concrete block, rebar, and building materials in Florida, seeks a skilled Gunite Finisher to join their team. As a Gunite Finisher, you will be responsible for providing basic physical labor associated with the placement and finishing of concrete, ensuring the finished product meets architectural specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure safety and report to work on time
- Safely operate power equipment and hand tools
- Assist gunite crew with set up and break down of jobsite tools and equipment
- Work to ensure the finished product meets architectural specifications
- 1+ year(s) of prior Bottom Finisher experience preferred
- Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to the construction industry
- Working knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in the construction industry
- Skill in operation of tools and equipment
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
