Crane Operator

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team at United Contractors, a leading highway construction company with over 50 years of experience. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating friction and/or hydraulic lattice boom cranes and other equipment, such as excavators, dozers, and skid loaders, to support our bridge construction, barrier rail, retaining walls, demolition, and materials recycling projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Safely operate cranes and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as lifting, moving, and placing materials
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals
• Perform daily maintenance and inspections of cranes and equipment
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

**Requirements:**

• 3+ years of experience as a Crane Operator in the highway construction industry
• OSHA 10-Hour certification and NCCCO-qualification (or ability to become qualified)
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
