Job Title: Airline Centralized Load Controller

Join Hallmark Aviation Services as an Airline Centralized Load Controller and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Accurately complete all load control activities, including planning and coordinating the distribution of load in accordance with passenger, cargo, and fuel requirements.
  • Monitor the performance of the Departure Control System and coordinate with affected departments to ensure smooth handling of passengers and dead load weight and balance issues in delay situations.
  • Comply with customer airline emergency requirements and display due care and diligence in all activities.
  • Ensure compliance with precision timing schedules and plan, coordinate, and produce all loading, weight, and balance documentation in accordance with company and client airline specifications.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the safe distribution of load within prescribed aircraft limitations and company operating manuals/procedures.
  • Be familiar with client airline manuals, including loading and stowage of dangerous goods, and maintain load control certification through ongoing skills development.
Requirements:
  • Safety and regulatory compliance focused with a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, external customers, and other departments/units.
  • Must be able to work quickly and effectively under time constraints while maintaining accuracy.
  • Must demonstrate a common sense approach to problem-solving and have the ability to achieve the best possible results.
  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to work independently.
  • Higher School Diploma or equivalent and extensive background in all areas of airport operations.
  • Successful completion of formal company training courses in manual and automated weight balance and client airline reservation courses.
  • Hold current certification for customer airline aircraft type with the country of customer airline's aviation authority regulations and any additional certifications required for client airlines as stipulated by contractual agreement.
