We are seeking a seasoned Commodity Manager to join our team at SCN - Search Consulting Network. As a key member of our purchasing and supply chain team, you will be responsible for driving cost savings and optimizing procurement processes for our client, a leading Automotive Tier 1 Supplier.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commodity strategies to drive cost savings and improve procurement efficiency
- Collect and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and create material categories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver annual cost savings and improve supply chain performance
- Utilize tools such as Power BI and Excel to analyze data and inform procurement strategies
- Manage a hybrid schedule and work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of indirect purchasing experience
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving procurement processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Hybrid schedule and competitive compensation package, including up to $125K salary and 10% annual bonus
