Job Summary

FPI Management, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper/Porter to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily upkeep and appearance of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curb Appeal: Maintain the outside appearance of the apartment community, including buildings, landscaping, trash areas, and parking lots.
  • Daily Cleaning: Clean debris from grounds and all common areas daily, including trash, cigarette butts, pet waste, leaves, and other unsightly items.
  • Pool Maintenance: Keep the pool decking and furniture hosed down as needed, arrange pool furniture daily, and maintain the pool and stairway fencing.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash receptacles and ash urns daily, and maintain dumpsters in operable condition.
  • Landscaping and Grounds: Keep landscaped areas free of debris, sweep and clean sidewalks, stairways, and breezeways, and maintain common area light globes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment provided for use, and report repair needs to your supervisor.
  • Community Rules: Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, and promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
