Position: Practical Nurse (LPN)

A Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering care and treatment in alignment with physician directives. This role operates within a collaborative team setting and adheres to the scope of practice as defined by state regulations. The LPN functions under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses (RNs).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Conducting patient assessments through physical examinations and relevant diagnostic tests to evaluate health conditions.

2. Administering prescribed medications and treatments effectively.

3. Engaging in the care planning process to enhance patient outcomes.

4. Overseeing the activities of LPNs and certified nursing assistants.

5. Communicating with physicians regarding any changes in patient conditions, test results, and other relevant information.

6. Documenting assessments and care in accordance with established standards and organizational policies.

7. Providing education to patients and their families on various health-related topics.

8. Completing necessary documentation in compliance with company policies and state or federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

- Valid licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state.

- Current certification in CPR.
