Job Title: Yard Hostler

We are seeking a skilled Yard Hostler to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading distributor of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry. As a Yard Hostler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of tractor trailers to and from our loading docks and designated parking areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and moves trailers safely, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe-driving policies.
  • Fuel, move, and park tractors and trailers to the docks, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
  • Transport tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities, requiring local city driving.
  • Secure trucks, trailers, and equipment at all times, completing all required documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to best serve the company.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 6+ months of Yard Hostler/Switching experience required.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
