Machinist Apprentice

Component Repair Technologies (CRT) is a leading provider of aerospace component repair and overhaul services. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Machinist Intern.

The Machinist Intern will work alongside experienced machinists to gain hands-on experience in manual and CNC machining, inspection, and quality control. The successful candidate will complete a structured on-the-job training program and participate in online training courses to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of machining.

• Assist experienced machinists in setting up and operating manual and CNC machining equipment
• Perform inspections of machined components to ensure quality standards are met
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of machining principles, safety protocols, and quality control procedures
• Participate in online training courses to enhance skills and knowledge in machining and inspection
• Work in a team environment to achieve production goals and deadlines

• Currently enrolled in an approved technical high school or trade school program in machining or a related field
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting fractions and decimals
• Ability to learn and understand technical documents, drawings, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
