Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Assistant II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technologist Assistance
    • Monitor and adjust MRI, CT, arthrogram, and x-ray schedules as needed to maintain an on-time schedule.
    • Prepare patient jackets and compile films, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
    • Assist technologists with room setup and patient preparation, including coil placement and table sheet changes.
    • Help technologists stay on schedule by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to exit the table.
    • Restore and network previous exams for next day's returning patients.
  • Cleaning and Organization
    • Stock and clean work and control areas, including MRI rooms.
    • Ensure MRI patient areas are stocked and organized in a neat and tidy manner.
    • Clean and stock patient prep room and patient restroom.
    • Organize and clean supply closet and computer rooms.
    • Organize radiologist reading area after radiologist departure.
  • Additional Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned by MRI technologists, Medical Records, and/or Front Office staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.
