We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team in the Southern NJ region. This role will be based in our Somerset office, with frequent travel to other locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and ensure accurate documentation of ultrasound reports.
- Identify and prepare specimens for insemination, maintaining sterile technique at all times.
- Perform routine patient assessments, phlebotomy, and clean exam rooms promptly.
- Manage clinical supplies inventory and lanfax for outside labs, reports, and prescriptions.
- Enter lab results and outside reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide exceptional patient care by anticipating anxieties and answering questions, while maintaining a high level of quality care.
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program is required; state certification is preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice, with a background in Women's Healthcare preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- EMR experience is a plus, and strong phlebotomy skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely, with a strong working relationship with multidisciplinary teams.
