The New Oak Academy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Professional to join our team as a Teacher Assistant. This is a part-time to possible full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of educational programs and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe and healthy environment that encourages children to learn and grow.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure a smooth transition from home to school and to keep them informed of their child's progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and promotes social responsibility.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
- High energy and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to pass a full background check and health screening.
