About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our team at Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all night audit functions, including supervising a team of night auditors, managing front desk operations, and handling guest inquiries and issues that arise during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Night Audit Team:
    • Lead, train, and mentor night auditors to ensure efficient and accurate completion of their duties.
    • Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure proper coverage.
  • Night Audit Operations:
    • Perform nightly audit functions including reconciling financial transactions, processing end-of-day reports, and balancing cash drawers.
    • Verify and reconcile guest accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the property management system.
  • Front Desk Management:
    • Oversee front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
    • Handle and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare nightly financial reports and summaries, including revenue, occupancy, and guest statistics.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial reports and guest accounts.
  • Security and Safety:
    • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises and guests during the night.
    • Conduct routine checks of the property and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Maintain effective communication with day shift management and other departments to ensure a smooth transition of information.
    • Document and report any significant events or issues that occur during the night shift.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
