Job Title: Senior Web Developer

Ultratec, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop web applications using cutting-edge technologies and programming languages.
  • Lead large development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain technical documentation and provide coaching and mentorship to junior technical staff.
  • Analyze and design software enhancements and new products, and interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and modifications.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, using Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application.
  • Proficiency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, and database designs.
  • Expertise in solutions design and requirements definition using model-driven design-based tools and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be based in Madison, Wisconsin, and will work in a professional office setting with standard office lighting and ventilation. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
