  • Observing waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy
  • Assisting in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
  • Identifying and reporting any equipment malfunction
  • Reporting any observed area in poor repair
  • Dispensing soap, paper, and other housekeeping supplies
  • Assisting with laundry duties
  • Attending in-service training programs
  • Identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action
  • Observing infection control procedures related to the Housekeeping Department
  • Following Patient's Rights policies at all times
  • Following facility safety program
  • Coming to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrating dependability and punctuality
  • Accepting assigned duties in a cooperative manner
  • Assuming accountability for data contained in the employees' handbook
  • Performing other related duties as directed by the Executive Director
