Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes. Key responsibilities include identifying patients for rehabilitation, documenting patient progress, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to patients according to state practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists to identify patients requiring rehabilitation services.
  • Document patient progress on weekly progress notes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain thorough records of patient treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in-state, as applicable.
  • Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
