Tool Maker

At UNAKA COMPANY, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team in Greeneville, Tennessee. As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment components, major and minor die repair work, and troubleshooting machine problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance on equipment components
• Major and minor die repair work
• Troubleshoot machine problems
• Operate equipment such as Grinders, Drill Presses, Lathes, Saws, Milling Machine, Welding equipment, and other equipment found in a machine shop
• Program and operate CNC equipment such as machining centers

Requirements:

• Associate degree or Certification in a Mechanical discipline recommended
• Ability to read basic blueprints and other schematics
• Understanding of basic use and care of precision measurement equipment
• Good communication skills to work with supervisors and other coworkers
• 80% or higher Ramsay Multicraft Aptitude Test score
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects
